SOLUTION: A plurality of on-off pattern data for impressing the voltages of a plurality of the on-off patterns varying from each other in spite of the same number of times per unit time to the liquid crystals of an LCD panel 20 are stored in a pattern table 104. The pattern table 104 outputs the on-off pattern data according to gradation data from a plurality of the on-off pattern data. Consequently, the voltages of the on-off pattern data meeting the gradation data are impressed to the liquid crystals in accordance with the data outputted from the pattern table 104 and therefore the aperture ratio of the liquid crystals is controlled with high accuracy.
