COCHLEA IMPLANT SYSTEM OF INFRARED COMMUNICATION MANNER

PURPOSE: A cochlea implant system is provided to enable an external part and an internal transplantation body to transmit and receive signals by an infrared communication manner. CONSTITUTION: An external part(1) converts a voice or sound signal(100) into an electric signal at the exterior of the body, and transmits the electric signal to the interior of the body. An internal transplantation body(2) receives signals from the external part and stimulates the acoustic nerves in a cochlea. The external part and the internal transplantation body transmit and receive signals via an infrared manner. The external part(1) comprises a microphone(200) for converting a voice or sound signal into an electric signal, and a transmitter(500) for converting the electric signal into an infrared signal so as to be transmitted to the interior of the body. The internal transplantation body(2) comprises a receiver(700) for receiving and demodulating the infrared signal from the transmitter, a stimulation circuit part(800) for converting the demodulated signal into a simulation signal, and an electrode(900) inserted in the cochlea to stimulate an acoustic nerve according to the stimulation signal.
