PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the image quality by obtaining shading correction data for quantity of light irregularities of an LED printer head for writing images with the use of a general-purpose image reader connected to a network in a printer single body having no image reader. SOLUTION: An electrophotographic printer using an LED write head is provided. A test output obtained by printing a predetermined test pattern is read by a scanner on the network and correction data is formed on the basis of the test output and stored. An emission strength of each emission dot or imaging data is modulated on the basis of the data of a storage means to carry out the correction. |
