PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing operation instruction system which can issue instructions for printing operations in terms of an arbitrary printing condition, and can automatically select a printing profile corresponding to the printing condition. SOLUTION: In an operation instruction database 170, there are stored operation instruction data for issuing the instructions for the printing operations based on the printing condition specified by element data which are arbitrarily selected from among the element data, stored in databases 111, 112 and 113 for elements specifying the printing conditions, by operators for an acceptance- of-order management system 150 and a printing machine management system 160. The printing profile is stored in a profile database 141 by being brought into correspondence with the printing condition which is specified by the element data selected by an operator for a color tone management device 120. The printing profile is automatically allocated to the operation instruction data by an automatic profile allocation device 180.
