PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an imaging apparatus in which printing in tab sheet forming mode can be carried out conveniently. SOLUTION: At the time of setting a tab sheet forming mode, the number of tabs N (the number of sheets of a set of a plurality of tab sheets having different tab positions) is set by input of an operator and then it is stored (1003). Furthermore, the character information of a head to be printed on the tab is inputted by the operator and stored (1004, 1005). At the time of printing, print position of the tab of tab sheets being fed sequentially, sheet by sheet, to a print means is calculated based on the dimensions of the tab sheet and the tab, the stored number of tabs N, and the number of orders of the tab sheets in a set. Furthermore, the image data of characters of the head is generated based on the stored character information of the head and the print means is controlled (1009) to print the image of characters of the head by the image data at the calculated tab printing position of the tab sheet. |
