FOAMED PAPER CUP FOR MICROWAVE OVEN

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foamed paper cup for a microwave oven not producing any excessive foam on an outer surface of a barrel part even if a stored content is placed in the paper cup and heated and cooked in the microwave oven. SOLUTION: This foamed paper cup is comprised of a barrel member 1 and a bottom member 2. A foamed heat-insulating layer having an outer surface thermoplastic resin layer is foamed at least on an outer surface of the barrel member. An outer circumferential edge of the bottom member is bent downwardly to form a bent part 22. The bent part is held by a bent-back part 12 having a lower end of the barrel member bent inward and by a lower end of a barrel part 11 to form a rim part 3. At least an outer surface of the rim of the foamed heat-insulating layer at the barrel part is provided with an over- foaming preventing means X.
