<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the processability, environmental dispersibility and mechanical characteristics of a cellulose ester which is useful for being molded or extruded to form plastic products, fibers or films. SOLUTION: A two component blend of a cellulose ester and an aliphatic- aromatic copolyester, or a cellulose ester and an aliphatic polyester and a three component blend of a cellulose ester and/or an aliphatic polyester and/or an aliphatic polyester and/or an aliphatic-aromatic copolyester and/or a polymer component are provided. Fibers, molded articles and films prepared from these materials are also provided.</p> |
