PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small reducer which can rotatably support a carrier in between the components of a planetary gear mechanism, without deteriorating supporting accuracy for the carrier, and to provide a geared motor having the same. SOLUTION: In the small reducer having a planetary gear mechanism 5 composed of a sun gear 10, a planetary gear 11, a carrier 12 for rotatably supporting the planetary gear 11, and a fixed internal gear 13 and a rotary internal gear 14 engaging with the planetary gear 11, one end of the carrier 12 is coaxially and rotatably supported by the fixed internal gear 13, and the other end of the carrier 12 is supported coaxially and rotatably by the rotary internal gear 14.
