PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive light deflecting scanner capable of realizing high-speed and accurate rotation and supporting, and an image forming device having the scanner. SOLUTION: In this light deflecting scanner equipped with a rotary shaft 3 and a fixed sleeve 2 capable of rotating mutually, and a rotary polygon mirror 5 fixed on the shaft 3, and using a dynamic pressure fluid bearing provided with a dynamic pressure generating groove at least at one part of the rotary shaft and the fixed sleeve, a gap between the attaching margins of the housing 1 of a driving motor and the sleeve 2 is uneven in a shaft direction at the time of attaching the housing 1 and the sleeve 2, and the gap at an axial part is widened and the gap at other part is narrowed. |
