PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat exchanger and a heat pump hot type water supply machine, capable of preventing the occurrence of uneven frost formation in an evaporator even using CO2 coolant, and facilitating flow distribution of the coolant even in a heat exchanger having multi-paths. SOLUTION: This heat exchanger functions as the evaporator 7 by making the CO2 coolant flows finned tubes arrayed in parallel.
