SEED AND SEEDLING RAISING POT

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seed and seedling raising pot made from naturally decomposable materials free from necessity of transplant or afforestation by taking out a seedling from the raising pot. SOLUTION: This seed and seedling raising pot uses paper clay and waste paper and refuse paper such as old newspapers recollected by recycle as a filler Z1 for paper clay. In using a naturally decomposable concrete as the filler Z2, the pot includes less than 15% of cement per concrete paste. The method of afforestation using the seed and seedling raising pot makes not only coniferous trees but also improves water utilization of forest by afforestation of hardwoods and maintenance of the ecosystem.
