PURPOSE: A screw type air hammer for excavation is provided to heighten economical efficiency by reducing the required equipment for excavation and the required expenses and shortening a period of excavation. CONSTITUTION: The screw type air hammer for excavation is installed on an auger dry unit and a compressor to rotate/press an air hammer and composed of a hammer bit(200) rotated/hit by the compressor, a tube-shaped auger screw(400) installed to surround the air hammer and rotated by the auger dry unit, and a screw tip(420) formed on a screw(410) of the tube-shaped auger screw(400).
