<p>Provided are an information storage medium in which event occurrence information is recorded, and a method and apparatus for playing the information storage medium. The information storage medium includes: AV data including at least one video object that is constituted of video object units, each having an audio pack, a video pack, and a navigation pack; and event occurrence information for generating an event designated based on the data structure of the AV data. Accordingly, a markup document screen can be more easily output in synchronization with an AV screen by utilizing the data structure of an existing DVD-Video without change.</p> |
