A clamping block system for securing various shapes of workpieces has two main blocks . One block is fitted with a spindle drive with the spindle threaded into the second block. Pairs of parallel bores in both blocks provide mountings for guide rods. The faces of the blocks are shaped with grip profiles to grip different shapes of workpiece. Two adjacent sides of the blocks are stepped to hold clamping jaws for precision working.
