DEVICE FOR IMPROVING TEST SEQUENCE FOR PRODUCTIVITY IMPROVEMENT OF HDD

PURPOSE: A device for improving a test sequence for productivity improvement of an HDD(Hard Disk Drive) is provided to improve productivity of the HDD by saving time and space needed for a process to manufacture the HDD. CONSTITUTION: The HDD(30) records a script file sequentially arranging test instructions of the HDD in a maintenance cylinder area of a magnetic disc. A ROM(62) stores a firmware outputting the test instruction based on the script file and outputting next test instruction by judging completion of test performance for every test instruction in a main firmware. A controller(48) performs a test of the HDD based on the test instruction output from the ROM.
