PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a face portion tracking device capable of highly accurately and quickly judging a face portion. SOLUTION: A face portion position state detection circuit 4 (face portion judging means) is provided with a first face portion judging part 41 and a second face portion judging part 42, is set so as to perform a highly accurate face portion judging processing in the first face portion judging part 41 and is set so as to accelerate a processing speed in the second face portion judging part 42. Then, the judging processing by the first face portion judging part 41 is performed to initially supplied fine images, and in the case of confirming the face portion in the processing, the judging processing by the second face portion judging part 42 is performed to the fine images supplied next time and thereafter. Thus, the face portion is highly accurately and quickly judged. |
