<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high sensitivity image pickup device and a radiation detector. SOLUTION: The image pickup device is provided with a photoelectric transducer layer 16 where incident light is transformed into electric charge on an insulated substrate, an electrode layer 17 formed on the photoelectric transducer layer 16, and a protection layer 37 formed on the electrode layer 17. The image pickup device is characterized in that when indexes of refraction of the photoelectric transducer layer 16, the electrode layer 17, and the protection layer 37 are defined as na , nb , and nc respectively, the relations na -nb <=1.5 and nb -nc <=1.5 hold.</p> |
