The sheet joining process involves the use of rolls. The sheets are made by means of passing blanks through a roll device. Two blanks (2, 3) of a thickness at least 20% greater than that of the finished sheet (8) are set against each other and rolled down to form the finished sheet to the required thickness (7) by passing them between two rolls (1).
