PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner capable of preventing foreign matter from entering an ion generator, and eliminating suspended bacteria in the air. SOLUTION: This air conditioner includes a blower, and a heat exchanger for sucking air in the room with the blower and heat-exchanging with the sucked air. The air conditioner is provided with a first passage for heat exchanging the air sucked from a suction opening by the heat exchanger and blowing out the air from a supply opening. An ion generator for generating ions is disposed in a second passage branching from the first passage near the supply opening, and an ion generating element of the ion generator for generating ions is in contact with the air in the second passage. A slit-opening part is formed in the upstream and downstream of the ion generating element in the second passage. |
