PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a processed seed food material which can instantly, well repeatably, and easily give a processed seed food having the characteristics flavor of seeds such as sesame or peanut without requiring a worker skill or a high technique, and to provide the processed seed food using the processed seed food material. SOLUTION: This processed seed food material is obtained by stirring and kneading starch and a seed paste containing roasted seed powder and a fat or fatty oil component under the addition of water, thereby micronizing an emulsifying the fat or fatty oil component contained in the seed paste in water and simultaneously allowing the starch to absorb the water, and then drying and solidifying the formed seed starch paste in a granular state. The processed seed food material is dispersed and dissolved in water in a sol state and then heated into a gel state or into a finely flowable sol state near to the gel state, thereby enabling the instant production of a desired processed seed food. |
