PURPOSE: A ship having a roller as a float is provided to improve the speed of the ship, and to form buoyancy by restricting direct contact between a main hull and the water surface and minimizing friction resistance of water surface with mounting rollers in the bottom. CONSTITUTION: Rollers(3) are arranged entirely in the bottom of a ship, and rotated according to forward or backward direction of the ship. A drum is made of metal or synthetic resin, and a shaft(3b) is inserted to the drum. The drum of the roller is filled with foaming resin like Styrofoam. An installation frame(2) is mounted, and both shafts of the roller are installed to a bearing of the frame. Rollers are rotated from friction with the water surface in moving the ship, and speed of the ship is increased by rotating rollers against friction resistance. Sinking of the ship is prevented by using the roller as a float.
