The pouch is made with an impermeable inner surface (1) and two outer surfaces - one structured and non-absorbent (2) and the other absorbent (3). The non-absorbent surface can be rendered temporarily hydrophilic and able to receive an active product (4), e.g. in the form of microcapsules (5) activated by rubbing or crushing. The pouch can be made large enough to fit on the hand or smaller to receive one or more fingers, and its edges can be joined by welding or adhesive with an optional peelable section that allows it to be opened.
