<p>A skin of shrinkable material, preferably cellulose, polyamide or polyester, is applied to the softened face of a plastic-coated woven band or plastic sheet. Band is then cooled so that skin shrinks to form a non-repetitive stress-free crumpled or "wrinkled" pattern on plastic surface. Skin is preferably removed, either immediately after cooling, or after reticulation of a hot-selling plastic.</p> |
