PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin-made cover for a steering wheel for a vehicle having a self-holding force. SOLUTION: This cover 100 for the steering wheel for the vehicle is composed of a resin-made cover body 110 which is mounted to an annular wheel 11 of the steering wheel 10 for the vehicle, whose cross sectional shape is similar to a shape of the annular wheel 11, whose cross sectional peripheral length is such a length that has a self-holding force by a resin elastic force for the annular wheel 11, and which is cut off and is opened in the longitudinal direction to mount the cover body 110 in the annular wheel 11 by opening cut-off opening parts 111, 111 against the resin elastic force, thereby realizing simple mounting.
