PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that temporal and labor costs become huge since manual processing is general in notice information printed on a business card or the like, and additional information can be added except for the notice information but additional information effective to be added to the business card or the like is not provided up to the moment. SOLUTION: The additional information processor for specifying a communicating party, electronically reads the additional information to printed matter to be electronically recognized, for performing communication by utilizing the read additional information. This device is provided with a read means for converting the printed matter to image data and acquiring them, an additional information extracting means for extracting the additional information from the image data acquired by the read means, and a communication means for performing communication by utilizing the additional information extracted by the additional information extracting means.
