PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To register points to consumable goods for devices purchased out of a network in a simple method, and display and output registered points through the network. SOLUTION: From a point registration sheet mailed on which a name and an ID are written, and on which a bar code printed on a package of an ink cartridge to be used in an ink jet printer 22 purchased is pasted, images are taken to be inputted through a scanner 33. A user is collated by a customer management data base 34 to image-inputted data, and points are collated using a consumable goods control data base 35 to be registered. When the user makes a prescribed request to a Web server 36 for My Page through the Internet 10, the registered points are counted to be displayed and outputted to the user computer 20 as the My Page for the user. |
