PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To print information in an appropriate area of every medium irrespective of the shape and print area of the medium on which the information is to be printed. SOLUTION: A recording medium 20 having the print area is read with a read means 30, the print area is recognized with a print area recognition means 42 based on the read information of the recording medium 20 that has been read, a print area image is displayed on a screen of a display means 41 based on the information on the recognized print area, a layout input for the print information is done, the print information image generated by the layout input is displayed on the screen so that the positional relationship between the image and the print area image on the screen exactly becomes the positional relationship between the image and the print area 21 on the recording medium 20 at the time of printing, and the displayed print information image is printed on the recording medium 20. |
