PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device comprising an ISU easily capable of position-alignment between a light-receiving surface of a CCD element and an original reflection light, by adjusting the height of CCD element with no laborious operation such as removing of a contact glass. SOLUTION: An image forming device comprises a support plate 25 of an image reading-in part above the upper surface of the image forming part with a space. A unit fitting plate 42 is secured to the support plate 25. A slide board 46 is fixed to the unit fitting plate 42 for position-alignment by sliding relative to the plate surface. A CCD substrate 40 to which the CCD element is fitted in an ISU is attached to a height alignment board. The height alignment board is fitted to the unit fitting plate with a height adjusting screw 48 to sandwich the slide board. The height adjusting screw 48 has a slot or thumb nut at its lower end, with the lower end rotatable from the support plate side.
