The control section 10 associates the plug sockets 4A, 4B, and 4C with the electric equipment by a detection signal and an equipment signal from the electric equipment that is connected to each of the plug sockets 4A, 4B, and 4C, and outputs a correspondence signal related to the association to a home server 5. Additionally, when the electric equipment is in a standby state, the switches 8A, 8B, and 8C are closed to prevent standby power from being generated.
