Bridge beam (sleeper) with means for fastening to girders of a steel railway bridge

In order to repair or manufacture in an environmentally acceptable manner bridge beams (2) with a means for fastening to girders (1) of a, preferably ballastless, steel railway bridge, the fastening means having a guiding element (4) which is releasably connected to the girder (1) and has guiding strips (5) arranged laterally next to the foot of the bridge beam (2), and further fastening elements for connection of the bridge beam (2) to the girder (1), it is proposed that - the guiding element (4) embraces the girder (1) by way of lateral downwardly projecting holding strips (6) on both sides, which are connected to the guiding strips (5) to form a hollow box, - at least one intermediate plate (7) is arranged between bridge beam (2) and girder (1) and - the bridge beam (2) consists of steel and has laterally open regions above the underside of a flange (8) resting on the girder (1). <IMAGE>
