PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tray support mechanism in an optical disk device that can surely lock a tray and a case when an operator depresses any position of a front face of the tray. SOLUTION: The tray support mechanism in an optical disk device including a tray 10, a case 20 for supporting the tray 10 movably so as to be projectingly inserted/removed to/from the optical disk device and containing the tray 10 pushed manually in, and a lock arm 22 engaging with an engagement projection 24 provided to the case 20 in a tray containing state to lock the tray 10 in a contained state, is provided with a first projection section 40 that is projected from an upper or lower end of the case 20 toward the tray 10 and pressed into contact with the upper or lower end of the tray 10 and has a projection length (h) so that the case 20 and the tray 10 are in parallel when the tray 10 is contained in the case 20.
