METHOD AND CIRCUIT OF CONTROLLING LCD FRAME RATIO AND LCD SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A method and circuit of controlling an LCD frame ratio and LCD system is provided to control a frame ratio flexibly according to an operating mode. CONSTITUTION: A counter(231) counts a predetermined time period, and a judgement circuit(235) judges activation of a data enable signal in response to an output signal of the counter. A frame ratio varying circuit(230) controls a frame ratio in response to an output signal of the judgement circuit. The judgement circuit outputs a frame ratio control signal of the first state when the data enable signal is activated during the time period, and a frame ratio control signal of the second state when the data enable signal is inactivated during the time period. The frame ratio varying circuit outputs the first frame ratio in response to the frame ratio control signal of the first state, and the second frame ratio in response to the frame ratio control signal of the second state.
