<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method, an apparatus and a digital storage medium whereby an inspector can easily search for, read, inspect and evaluate an image of an abnormal point or the like of a tube from a table, by linking the table showing points of the imaged tube with digital images obtained by imaging the points, and can make use of advantages such as a high image quality and image processing by a digital image technique, and a random accessibility and compactness of the digital storage medium, or the like. SOLUTION: The method for inspecting abnormal points or the like of the tube by digital images obtained by imaging the inside of the tube includes digitally forming the inspection table with places corresponding to points of the tube including abnormal points, storing corresponding digital images of the tube while linking the images with places of the inspection table, displaying the inspection table on a display, clicking the place on the inspection table by a pointer or the like or carrying out the like operation, and displaying on the display the digital image of the point of the tube corresponding to the place of the inspection table in response to the clicking or the like operation.</p> |
