PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new drug based on the physiological function of ITIIα. SOLUTION: The human topoisomerase 2α-inhibitor contains a human topoisomerase 2α-binding factor containing either one of the following amino acid sequences. (a) A specific amino acid sequence and (b) an amino acid sequence obtained by deleting, substituting and/or inserting one or more amino acids of the above amino acid sequence and exerting interaction with human topoisomerase 2αto inhibit the activity of the enzyme.
