PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recycling method and a reclaiming device for the method of separating, recovering and reclaiming abrasive grains and magnetic particles included in a magnetic fluid grinding tool or chips or the like produced by grinding without discarding the magnetic fluid grinding tool deteriorated in grinding capability by usage. SOLUTION: The reclaiming method is for the grinding abrasive grain body with a binding material containing the abrasive grains and magnetic particles solidified under an electromagnetic environment, and it is composed of a liquefying process of liquefying the solidified polishing abrasive grain body, a separating process of separating at least one of the abrasive grains or the magnetic particles from inside the binding material liquefied by the liquefying process, and a reclaiming process of reclaiming the grinding abrasive grain body by using a separated substance, a substance remaining in the binding material or the binding material. The liquefying process is carried out by heating the grinding abrasive grains or addition of a particular solvent reacting to the binding material.
