PURPOSE: An image display device and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to obtain a uniform anti-static layer by uniformly distributing the conductive material, while reducing manufacturing costs. CONSTITUTION: An image display device comprises a panel(100) for display of image; a reinforcement glass(300) stacked on the panel; an anti-reflection film(400) deposited on the reinforcement glass; an anti-static layer(200) interposed between the panel and the reinforcement glass, and made of a thermoplastic resin and a conductive material; a reinforcement band(500) arranged at the side surface of the panel; and a conductive tape(600) arranged at the side surface of the reinforcement glass, top and side surface of the anti-static layer, top and side surfaces of the panel, and the reinforcement band.
