PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To relieve burden on an observer and to correctly grasp transmission line characteristic by synthetically detecting a margin till a transmission line is frozen from a delay profile, a BER state and electric field strength information, making it into a video and displaying it. SOLUTION: In a digital transmission system, at least a delay profile signal is generated from a reception signal at a reception side among the delay profile signal expressing a reflection wave mixture state, a BER state signal expressing a bit error rate state and an electric field strength state signal expressing an electric field strength. The corresponding state signal is made into a video and displayed, the margin of the transmission state of the transmission line is detected from the displayed image state and, then, the transmission margin state of the transmission line is displayed. Thus the margin is easily and more correctly grasped till freezing. |
