PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color cathode-ray tube which can absorb external vibration by enabling a projection part and a spring to be slid each other. SOLUTION: A color selection electrode structure has a projection part 9 which is mounted to a face panel 2 in such structure as inserted into a hole 20 of a spring 19, and the spring 19 and the projection part 9 have contact portions overlapping each other in the axial direction of the projection part 9, where a gap is formed between the outside circumference of the projection part 9 and the inside circumference of the hole 20. The spring 19 and the projection part 9 can be slid each other at the contact portions while changing the gap in the radial direction of the hole 20. This makes the vibration of the pin 9 propagate to a frame while the pin 9 and the spring 19 are slid each other. Therefore, since the vibration energy of the frame is converted into friction energy between the pin 9 and the spring 19 and consumed, the vibration of the frame is quickly attenuated and restricted.
