PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigeration unit for land transportation capable of achieving energy-saving operation by reducing heat quantity in reheating by operation of an evaporator fan, and reducing power consumption necessary for the operation. SOLUTION: This refrigeration unit for land transportation is provided with the evaporator 30, a compressor 5, a condenser 40, and an expansion valve 33, and these are connected to each other by cooling medium conduits to form a refrigerating cycle. This device has an evaporator fan operation control part 91 by which operation of the evaporator fan 31 of the evaporator 30 can be set as desired upon thermally-OFF operation when the operation of the compressor 5 is stopped due to lowered inner room temperature down to a prescribed value, with the evaporator fan 31 operated to circulate cold air in a room.
