PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a faucet in which a projecting portion on an attachment position is downsized while giving an impression of modern style, and which can be easily installed, maintained and managed. SOLUTION: The faucet connected to a joint of a water pipe through a circular attachment hole punched in the wall is provided with a connection portion to connect with the joint, a main body comprising a stop cock and a spout arranged in a line on the other side of the connection portion, and a cylindrical attachment base which can fixedly contain the main body and can be inserted in the attachment hole. As the main body as well as the attachment base are fit in the attachment hole, and the spout and the stop cock are arranged on the same plane, the projecting portion of the faucet on the wall is downsized. Moreover, unique arrangement of the spout and the stop cock gives an particular aesthetic effect.
