PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve safety of a sucking port cover of a jet bath apparatus. SOLUTION: The jet bath apparatus has a sucking port cover 9 which is integrated with a sucking port 1 having openings 9a of many apertures, and is provided with a front face capable of sliding back and forth, left and right to the sucking port 1. Also it is positioned so that its sliding range covers up the sucking port 1. Therefore, the sucking port cover 9 cannot be removed by the user. In addition, sliding of the sucking port cover 9 does not expose the sucking port 1 directly because its sliding range covers up the sucking port 1. Even if a baby or a very young child stumbles in the bathtub by any chance, and his head goes underwater, possibility of the hair to be sucked into the sucking port is eliminated.
