PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform simulation of a suction heat pump more quickly and accurately. SOLUTION: The system for simulating a suction heat pump comprises a section 1 for configuring the simulation model of a suction heat pump, a section 2 for setting an appropriate formula of restriction conditions including no term of time differentiation for the mass flow rate in a state equation representing the simulation model, and a simulation executing section 3 where a mass flow rate is determined, at first, from the formula of restriction conditions and then the remaining state quantity is determined from each state equation under a mass flow rate thus determined. Since the value of mass flow rate is determined by single calculation and used for calculating the remaining state quantity from each state equation, a solution can be attained at a very high rate without performing repetitive calculation and occurrence of an error due to insufficient convergence can be prevented.
