PURPOSE: A system for preventing an illegal credit card on a shop terminal is provided to prevent an illegal use of the credit card by replacing a sign of a payment slip with inputting a password to the terminal. CONSTITUTION: The terminal(100) includes an IC card interface(101), a keypad interface(102), a display(120), a printer controller(106), a memory(103), a communication module interface(105) communicating data with a terminal interface(136) of a communication module(130) through wire or wireless, and a CPU(104). The communication module(130) comprises a direct electric power supply(135), a serial communication controller(132) interfacing the serial communication interface for communicating the serial data, a modem(131) modulating/demodulating a signal inputted/outputted through a connection port of a VAN(Value Added Network), the terminal interface(136) interfacing the wire/wireless connection with the terminal(100) and a financial terminal, the memory(133), the CPU(137), and a multi-connection port(134).
