ADDRESS ASSIGNMENT SYSTEM; ROAD SIDE DEVICE AND ON- VEHICLE DEVICE USING IT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently assign an address and to reduce time for assignment in a DSRC network system. SOLUTION: In this address assignment system, an on-vehicle device identifier LID to be used in a DSRC protocol is applied to the sub address of an IP address to efficiently assign the address in the case of the Internet connection. The IP address is generated by a road side device 10 in the case of primary connection for reducing a processing time.
