FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: device has metal acetabular cup having fastening members. Outer spherical surface of the cup has thorns. Leaflets having openings for receiving fastening screws are designed in proximal part of the cup. The leaflets are bendable to match the bone shape. Thorne hook is available in the distal part of the cup. The hook is to be hammered into the bone tissue to increase attachment strength. EFFECT: avoided protrusion into the pelvic cavity when applying cementless fixation method. 3 dwg
