PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a beverage containing extracts of an onion, garlic, a pear or an apple and Glycyrrhizae Radix is provided. Therefore, the beverage has excellent drinkability as well as the taste and flavor of each component. CONSTITUTION: An onion is mixed with garlic, a pear or an apple and Glycyrrhizae Radix, heated with an appropriate amount of water for 3 to 6hr. The extract is compressed and concentrated under vacuum after removing the residual dregs. The beverage contains 68 to 72% by weight of the onion extract, 18 to 22% by weight of a garlic or apple extract and 0.3% by weight of Glycyrrhizae Radix.
