PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet recording sheet, on which printing can be repeated by several times and which is excellent in reusability in an ink jet recording, and its image forming method. SOLUTION: In this ink jet recording sheet, a white ink receiving layer is equipped on a colored base material layer. The ink receiving layer is formed by making fine particles laminated and porous in a radiation curable compound including two or more of ethylenic double bonds in one molecule and then adhering a colorless ink to the ink receiving layer so as to transparentize the ink receiving layer. Especially, the preferable fine particles are fine inorganic or organic particles having an average particle diameter of 0.1 to 5.0 μm. The preferable colorless ink is mainly made of the water. At the same time, the preferable refractive index of the fine particle forming the ink receiving layer is 1.30 to 1.60. |
