PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently obtain a stable output voltage by switching two kinds of DC voltage converting means in response to a voltage difference between an input voltage and on output voltage. SOLUTION: This DC stabilizing power supply circuit is provided with a low saturation regulator 3 and a DC/DC converter 4 to convert an input voltage Vi inputted from a DC power supply to an output voltage Vo which is smaller than the input voltage Vi (Vo>Vi), a voltage detecting means 5 to detect the input voltage Vi and the output voltage Vo converted by the low saturation regulator 3 or the DC/DC converter 4 and to output an input-output voltage differenceΔV (=Vi-Vo), and is switched in response to the input-output voltage differenceΔV so as to make the DC converted voltage by the low saturation regulator 3 the output voltage Vo when the input-output voltage differenceΔV is not more than a predetermined voltage Vcr, and to make the DC converted voltage by the DC/DC converter 4 the output voltage Vo when the input-output voltage differenceΔV exceeds the predetermined voltage Vcr.
