PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lithographic printing method, with which no scumming develops in a printed matter even under severe printing conditions and, in addition, a simplified and low cost plate-making process can be realized, by a method wherein a lithographic printing original plate, the hydrophilic layer of which has a high hydrophilicity, is employed. SOLUTION: This method includes a process for forming a hydrophilic surface having a hydrophilic graft polymer chain on the plate cylinder of a printing machine, a process for forming a lipophilic image on the hydrophilic surface for printing and a process for erasing the image after the finish of the printing process so as to form a hydrophilic surface again on the plate cylinder, from which the image is erased, in order to form an image, for repeating printing. |
