PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of preventing the scale of cooling water systems of heat exchangers of building air conditioners, general factories, petrochemical complexes, of in which blow water is discharged in the state of removing solids. SOLUTION: This method of preventing the scale of the cooling water system comprises adding a flocculating agent to a circulating water system and sedimentating the scale substances to be prevented from adhesion together with inorganic particulates which are the same as or similar to the scale substances in a process and blowing the circulating water.
